2011 Event Schedule

NSRA Nationals 2011 - Louisville, KY - August 4-7

With more than 11,000 vintage autos from across the U.S. on display, the Street Rod Nationals Plus is truly the place to be this summer. With the addition of cars from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, this years Street Rod Nationals Plus will bring even more cars, more excitement, more fun and more fans of vintage vehicles to the Kentucky Expo Center. You can roam the parking lots at the Kentucky Expo Center for hours and still not see them all! You’ll be able to speak with many of the owners and get a close up look at each car. Indoors you’ll find the Builder’s Showcase where twenty-nine of America’s premier car builders display their latest and greatest street rod creations. So, what’s a street rod? It’s a vehicle manufactured prior to 1949 and that has been modified for travel on today’s highways. Plus, this event will also include muscle cars; those factory produced high horsepower machines from the 60’s and 70’s along with the classic cars of the 50’s. The average value of the cars ranges from $18,000 to $35,000.

SPECTATOR GATE HOURS

• Thursday, August 4........... 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday, August 5................ 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, August 6............ 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, August 7.............. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are, however, vehicles that exceed the $100,000 mark as more and more innovative technology is incorporated. If you’re already into the car hobby or just wanting to get started, you won’t want to miss the Vintage Auto Parts Swap Meet and the gigantic indoor trade show that fills the Kentucky Expo Center’s North and South Wings. The show features 350+ manufacturers and dealers of specialty automotive equipment. The UPS Commercial Way section showcases vehicles designed for the transportation of goods and materials. The Street Rod Nationals also features a huge arts and crafts fair and multiple special product seminars. And there’s lots of free entertainment again this year.
